Best Time To Visit Las Vegas
Las Vegas is blessed with year-round, GREAT weather! Our winters are not too cold, but you will not get to enjoy any of the swimming or day club activities. The time of year that is best will depend on the type of vacation you plan on doing.
Lets break it down by season:
Okay, I know I said the weather is always great, but if I had to rule out one season in Vegas, it would be winter. The city is borderline deserted and the weather is too cold to swim .
We dont even decorate that well for Christmas!
Id only recommend visiting in the Winter if you prefer uncrowded streets and dont mind a lack of pool time fun. For the rest of you, lets just skip to spring.
Springs weather is really beautiful because of the season, its around 60-70 degrees. The only downside of traveling to Las Vegas in the Spring is that the weather changes often. Some days its beautiful and sunny, and other days were in the middle of a hurricane.
But hey, you are coming to Las Vegas to gamble, especially since the sports betting Canada laws are so frustrating, so why not gamble on the weather too, am I right!?
- Side Note: Day clubs are one of the best things to do in Las Vegas and dont open until late spring. I will touch on that later, but definitely keep that in mind when planning a visit!

Invest In Airline Credit Cards
If earning airline miles and points from everyday purchases is something that interests you, then you should definitely invest in an airline credit card like this awesome one.
The best part is that most, if not all, offer a special bonus incentive once you spend a certain amount of money within 3 months.
These bonus points are usually good for at least 1 or 2 roundtrip tickets.
With the Southwest Airlines credit card, you can literally earn 5 or more roundtrip tickets.
Why Should I Stay Off
If you’ve visited Las Vegas a million times and only ever experience one street, you owe it yourself to see another part of the city at least once. You might also find lower rates, though not at every property. Don’t expect to pay less for a room at Red Rock Casino than you would for a room at a budget Strip property like Excalibur.
You may also find fewer crowds, less vehicle traffic, less noise, and less price-gouging when you shop, eat, and drink. Whether it’s your first or tenth time to Vegas, if any of that appeals to you, consider going off the beaten path.
Staying off Strip also balances the experience of Las Vegas Boulevard. Hike through the stark, wild beauty of the desert complemented by a fancy dinner at a sleek steakhouse. An intimate cocktail bar in the Arts District can serve as a prelude to a crowded evening at a nightclub.

In the old days, the casinos along Las Vegass legendary Strip were cut-throat rivals. Each stood a long way back from the road, and was a dark, low-ceilinged labyrinth, in which it was all but impossible to find an exit. During the 1980s, however, visitors started to explore the Strip on foot. Mogul Steve Wynn cashed in by placing a flame-spouting volcano outside his new Mirage. As the casinos competed to lure in pedestrians, they filled in those daunting distances from the side walk and between each casino and the next.
With Las Vegas booming in the 1990s, gaming corporations bought up first individual casinos, and then each other. The Strip today is dominated by just two colossal conglomerates, MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment. Each owns a string of neighbouring casinos. Once you own the casino next door, theres no reason to make each a virtual prison. The Strip has therefore opened out, so that much of its central portion now consists of pedestrian-friendly open-air terraces and pavilions housing bars and restaurants.
