What Are The Best Places In Paros For Nightlife
Naoussa and Parikia are the places where you will find most of the bars and clubs, suitable for any taste in your nightlife. Paros, along with Mykonos and Ios are considered the most all-night party islands, so depending on your age you will definitely find the nightlife that you are looking for in Paros.
When I was in my early twenties the most trendy bar back then was Linardo Bar in Naoussa and I know that it is still working.

Athens Overall Best Place To Stay In Greece
Athens is a travelers dream come true! Positively steeped in history, Athens is bursting at the seams with ancient wonders to behold. Its not just about the Acropolis. From Hadrians Library to the Roman Agora, to the Temple of Zeus, youre going to have so much to see that you want to make sure you have enough time to do it! Marveling at the remains of these ancient temples and monuments is a once in a lifetime experience.
Not only is Athens filled with historical wonders, but theres also quite the hip scene going on there now. My personal favorites include doing things like enjoying unlimited spirit samples at the oldest bar in Athens, Brettos, and taking in the nighttime lights that spotlight the Acropolis from the top of Sky Bar.
Then of course, theres walking stopping by for snacks at family-run tavernas, or doing some touristy shopping around Monastiraki which translates to little monastery if anyone out there was wondering! The other great thing about the capital is all the day trips from Athens you can do too whilst based here.
Now that Ive convinced you that Athens is the place to be, lets dig into where you should stay.

AIRPORT: There are some international flights going straight to certain islands, like Santorini or Crete, you better check Skyscanner, for charters or direct flights from your own country.

Parikia is the capital and the regular port of entry for tourists. It is in the northwest of Paros. It is home to the islands main bus station, you can easily travel around without renting cars and motorbikes.
Parika and Naoussa are both the main towns and popular places to stay in the island which is just 15 minute drive from each other. Where to stay in Parika or Naoussa is really a personal choice. Parika is better than Naoussa if you want easy access to other parts of the island with public transport, you want good range of budget friendly accommodations, shops, and restaurants. Naoussa is better than Parika if you want to stay in a upmarket town in a luxury villa.

Piso Livadi Where To Stay In Paros For Families
If youre looking for one of the best family friendly places to stay in Paros, you may just have found it.
It wasnt so many years ago, that the pretty little fishing village of Piso Livadi was just that. Then the builders moved in. Hotels, apartments, and villas went up. Shops, bars and restaurants were built.
The harbour was extended, and all the trappings of the tourist industry were added. Yet through it all, somehow, Piso Livadi, has retained its essential Greek charm.
Around the harbour and village, the standard blue and white colour scheme sparkles in the sunshine, offset by the azure blue Aegean Sea, and the colourful potted plants and bougainvillea that all the islands villages seem to specialise in.
Although the harbour can be busy with island ferries coming and going, the small sandy beach is shallow, safe for the youngsters, and equipped with the usual sunbeds and parasols.
A childrens playground on the harbours edge ensures they dont get bored, and there are plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants to keep mum and dad happy. The village has also developed a gourmet reputation for some of the best cuisine on the island.
For a change of scenery, the larger Logaras beach is a five-minute walk away, but amenities are fewer, and shade is via the tall salt-cedars that grow to the edge of the beach.
Piso Livadi is a great destination for all ages, and has a good, varied selection of accommodation to suite all needs.

Ferry From Naxos To Paros
We actually did the opposite route to go from Paros to Naxos, but its all pretty much the same. The ferry in Naxos will leave from Chora port and arrive in Parikia. The route is about 1-hour long, and it is quite a popular route, so you may want to reserve ahead of time, especially in the high season.
We didnt have trouble getting our tickets in September, but the boat was more full than the other ferries we took.
Once you get to Paros, youll get here through Parikia, which is where the port is. A pretty good bus system will help you get around from one place to the next. We recommend staying in Naoussa, where you have tons of hotels, restaurants, and beaches.
