Mountain views from anywhere in the city are incredible. Compact downtown easy to get around on foot. Easy to get across town by car. Many public parking lots downtown, but most seemed to need a smartphone in order to pay. Lots of good restaurants, but they book up days ahead so it can be hard to get a table. Several interesting museums, & the trolley tour is worth it. Excursions on train or to glaciers were very expensive. Lots of homeless people, especially in camps in wooded areas city seemed to be trying both to remove them and to downplay their numbers. Expect lots of drizzly weather – but the clouds & lighting enhance the mountain views.
