Breckenridge has more hike and bike trails than any other town we have stayed in. The paved bike path from Breckenridge to Vail is amazing and we rode the Vail pass from the top near Vail down to Frisco and the fall colors were fantastic. We found a few more hiking trails that were great like Blue Lake and the Colorado Trail. Are favorite restaurant is the Blue Stag and the Soupz On next to the grocery store for a healthy lunch.

My kid has ski lessons at Peak 8 on Dec 2.0 & 21. Couldnt find any spots at the village location.
I want to book adult beginners classes + snowboard class for my other kid at same location and also stay at a convenient location to peak 8.
Where would you recommend for staying? We will be renting equipment from the ski school. And one day the kid is likely to ski on her own while adults are still learning and big sister is still in snowboard class.

If you are wrangling a kid and another beginner its probably worthwhile to stay up at Pk 8 if the budget allows. That just means you will have to ride the bus down to town for dinner or whatever. But you will be in street shoes and not in a hurry.
If you stay in town its nice to be able to walk to Main st for restaurants or shopping, but make sure your lodging is convenient to a bus stop or the gondola up to Pk 8. But the morning rush could delay you to getting to lessons on time so you have to get an earlier start.
