While the Fontainebleau puts you at a bit of a distance from South Beach , I think your kids will love the Fontainebleau.
Dining is not readily available beyond the grounds of the hotel. The resort has some great 5 star restaurants, but if you’re after more variety, I’d suggest heading toward South Beach – perhaps Lincoln Road Mall or the new fun places in the Sunset Harbour District .
What is it about the Fountainbleau that would appeal to teenagers? Is it the pool area? Although I’m sure it’s a great place to stay, I really love the idea of trying some of the restaurants that you have mentioned and really don’t plan on dinners at the resort at all. Wondering about breakfast and lunch as well. Not sure if I want to pay resort prices for those meals too. Does it make more sense to stay closer to South Beach? If so, any hotels with great outdoor space and maybe activities off of the beach if possible within walking distance to the action?
