Best Neighborhood To Stay At Christmas
What recommendations for aChristmas stay in Asheville? Hotel, an inn, VRBO or cabin outside of Asheville. Trying to plan ahead. A couple in our 60s.
Enjoy good restaurants, but also nice holiday feel without tons of people.

Biltmore Village is really pretty at Christmas, Grand Bohemian would be a great choice if it fits your budget.
I agree with Biltmore Village. It is a nice area with many amenities. The Grand Bohemian is a neat hotel.
Also love the Grove Par Inn. The views are beautiful but you must drive to go anywhere. The inn is the destination.
If you get a VRBO consider the Montfort area near Charlotte Street. Beautiful old homes and nice to walk around, plus a City Bakery nearby. And you can walk into town in about 20 minutes depending on where you are.
Montfort is quite a ways from Charlotte Street, at least a mile away and about a 20+ minute walk across busy Merrimon Ave. Agreed that Montfort is lovely, but it’s not that close to Charlotte Street .
We visited the Park Grove Inn for drinks and small plates. The public rooms are stunning. The drinks were good, so were the food items we shared and the service was outstanding. The views from there were nothing short of fabulous. If you do drive I am sure you will enjoy staying there, if every outing requires a taxi or Uber there may be more convenient places as recommended by other places.
