Dont Skip The Parks And Beltline
If Piedmont Park is Atlantas green lung, then the new BeltLine paths have opened up arteries to oxygenate locals and visitors alike. One of our favorite BeltLine trails is the Eastside Trail beginning at Piedmont Park and ending in Inman Park. It passes through Krog Street Market, a great stop for lunch, and Ponce City Market, a multiuse space from the creators of New Yorks Chelsea Market. Be sure to stop at King of Pops for a gourmet popsicle along the way. Within Piedmont Park, the Atlanta Botanical Garden is another must-see and includes a cool suspension bridge walkway.

Very Unique Place To Visit But Be Prepared For The Amount Of
Very unique place to visit but be prepared for the amount of homeless in the area we stayed in and sadly the area is far from clean. Trash all on sidewalks and streets. Cops are walking and driving everywhere but also be prepared people were showing violence and being arrested constantly in our three day trip. Saw complete lack of respect towards officers and especially males against female officers. Aquarium and six flags was our main reason for going and both of those were great. Wouldnt visit that specific area near Candler again though. As adults felt semi safe but did not take our kids out after dark. We are not people to stray from being out and about but also can realize when something is risky and that was a constant feeling once outside our hotel which I would rate as a historical 5 star!!
