London Walk : The Thames Path
Starting at Hammersmith Bridge, the path follows the water past historic pubs, little parks, and some of the prettiest houses in west London.
I love stopping for a waterfront drink at The Dove and watching the rowers go by from a sunny table on the terrace.
Once it reaches Chiswick, the Thames Path reveals even prettier houses with lovely riverside gardens.
It continues along a horseshoe bend, but I usually cant resist the temptation of Chiswick High Road, so I peel off at some point to head north for the shops and restaurants there.

Where To Stay In Soho
I personally love Soho I found it really easy to get around London, there are several tube stations around and walking to Trafalgar square, Covent Garden, Buckingham palace or Big Ben was really easy . Soho comes a live at night with the festive cheer. It has come great pubs and restaurants. Make sure to check out a show at the West End theatre. Soho is also known for its risqué vibe, here you will find many of Londons sex shops, burlesque shows and gay and lesbian bars. .
This is the best place to stay in London for food and entertainment. Below is a list of the best hotels in central London:

- Soho has had a reputation for being a rather saucy area from its inception. The Hellfire Club was set up in 1719 by Philip, Duke of Wharton. It was rumoured to be the place where notable people could enjoy immoral acts
- The Philip Morris cigarette factory used to be on Great Marlborough Street. This is where Marlboro cigarettes come from.
- Look out for the noses on Soho walls. This was an artist bemoaning Londons CCTV turning us into a Big Brother state. The noses were originally put up where there were gaps in the TV coverage.

Live Like A Local In Bermondsey & London Bridge
As close to the throng of the city as you can get without being right in the middle, Bermondsey gives you the cool side of London but still with prime access to the big sights. You wont see it in many guidebooks as its not widely known as the best place to stay in London for tourists, but it’s a local’s favourite and that’s why we love it. Bermondsey’s neighbour, London Bridge, gives you transport link across the whole city, whilst the famous Borough Market or lesser-known Maltby Street Market will both leave you drooling for more. Maltby Street is a must at the weekend. Its tucked away in the quieter lanes, but comes alive with street traders tempting you with the aromas of world cuisine. Its a tight street and it gets busy, but its all part of its charm. Oh, and if youre a gin lover, dont leave without grabbing a gin cocktail at Little Bird. When staying in the area, youll also be close to London Bridge , Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, so you can get all of those checked off your sightseeing list in one fell swoop. Fancy staying somewhere unique during your trip? Look no further than our London houseboats along the river.

Hampstead Heath Circular Hampstead
The sprawling 800-acre green of Hampstead Heath makes a wonderful setting for this circular walk. As the destination where the monks of Westminster came to escape the Black Death so many centuries ago, it feels particularly poignant right now.
Large enough that you really do feel like youve escaped the city, this really is one of the best walks in London.
The heath comes with stunning viewscourtesy of Parliament Hill, a historical manor and skirts past those much-talked about ponds.
Along the way, pop into the delights of Pergola and Hill Garden covered in plants and vines its still something of a hidden gem.

The hipster capital of London is where all the young Londoners like to hang out. There, youve got the best bars and cafes, cool street art, and awesome food markets to explore. Far removed from the glamorous tourist attractions of Westminster, Shoreditch is what you could call the real London experience.
