Where to Stay in Milwaukee: Best Areas & Hotels

I visited Milwaukee recently for a triathlon. I was so impressed by the entire city and my experience at the Plaza Hotel. Stacey and Dave took such great care of my family and I, from the moment we checked in. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and they make you feel right at home. The Plaza is charming- the rooms are very clean and they have nice little kitchens so that you are able to have some of those at-home comforts without having to go out all of the time. There is even a nice market behind the hotel in case you want to pick up anything for your room. Just make sure to head to the cafe at least one morning for a delicious breakfast in their beautiful courtyard. The location of The Plaza can’t be beat! We were walking distance to all of the race activities which mostly took place by the art museum and waterfront. Stacey gave wonderful reccomendations for places to go and things to do. I will DEFINITELY visit this city again and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else besides The Plaza Hotel!More

What are people saying about hotels in Milwaukee, WI?

This is a review for hotels in Milwaukee, WI:

“This hotel, in the original Pabst Blue Ribbon brewery, is wonderful. From the “upscale industrial” design that incorporates reclaimed factory features, to the friendly desk staff and valet, to the well-appointed rooms, this was a 5 star stay. It’s located in the historical brewery district, which is in walking distance of the Deer District if you are a Bucks fan, and is a quick Uber to American Family Field if you are a Brewers fan! The only downside? We visited on a Monday so the adjoining restaurant was closed, and very few other choices in the neighborhood were open. Perhaps plan your trip for the weekend if sightseeing and dining is a desire. Our room did have a kitchenette with a full sized refrigerator, and they have a snack shop as well as continental breakfast.”
