Lakeview Residential Home In Traders Cove
In the tranquillity of Traders Cove to the north of Kelowna, you can find this eight-guest lake house so lavish youd be forgiven for mistaking it for a luxury show-home.
The interior is all sparkling whites and floods of natural light, accented with rustic wooden fixtures and flooring. The open plan design even makes both stories feel like one communal space, so you can feel like a family unit even if one of you is playing the grand piano, two are engaged in fierce competition at the pool table and the rest are taking a load off in the lounge. The kitchen boasts everything needed to whip up a gourmet meal from locally-sourced ingredients, and you can serve it up right there at the charming breakfast bar.
Outdoors you will find multiple grills and BBQs, a fire pit, your own private hot tub, family-style patio furniture, and a hammock all in 180-degree view of the deep blue waters of Okanagan Lake backed by forested peaks, of course. Theres even a childrens play structure in the large grassy garden for your littlest ones.
Its just a short stroll to the lakefront, and the surrounding hills are teeming with wild trails and exploration opportunities. Or, if youd prefer to kick back, theres a 75 TV loaded with Netflix, Disney+, and a full cable package. Dont worry, we wont judge, parents need a break too!

Well into its 12th year of operation, the staff at Ogopogo are well-versed in making their guests stays something special. In true Kelowna style, their breakfast chefs are foodies too and will delight your palate each morning with locally-sourced gourmet treats. They know all the best spots around town and can even sort you out with some loaned bikes so you can explore the city right.

Renting A Car In British Columbia
If youre arriving in British Columbia via plane then I cant recommend getting a rental car enough. British Columbia is a large province and traveling between the best places to visit in BC requires transport. Although you can use public transport on some occasions, this means your trip will not only require more time but more planning.
Car rental in Canada is relatively cheap especially if you get a budget car. The cheapest car with a pickup and drop-off in different locations is around $70 CAD per day. The price does vary though depending on the time of year. For car rentals, I use the website Rental Cars.com. Its a search engine with lots of deals with good customer service. In fact, Ive used Rental Cars.com all over the world including in Chile, New Zealand, and Australia.
Another popular option is to rent a campervan or motorhome Using Motorhome Republic you can search hundreds of deals across multiple companies to pick a great vehicle and the cheapest price. Having a motorhome is a stunning way to see Canada and using crown land and campsites you can often camp for free or very cheap in the most beautiful places imaginable!
