Theres a wonderful intermingling of modern and traditional Mexican touches. Wrought iron accents, gemstone colors and fountains meet sleek marble floors and rich mahogany furniture.
The 246 suites range from huge 737 sq. ft. studios to a 4-bedroom penthouse with five bathrooms and a private beachfront pool. All suites feature full kitchens with stainless steel appliances.
The Grand Solmar makes up for the fact that you cant swim at the beach with seven glittering pools. Some are infinity pools with swim-up bars.
Despite this being a time-share property , service is excellent.
