Amenities here include direct access to the beach, and guests can take out kayaks or surfboards to play in the Atlantic Ocean. There is also a pool, seasonal kids’ club, spa, and a restaurant with an oceanfront balcony for outdoor dining.

On Ocean Isle Beach, The Winds Resort Beach Club is a family-owned resort with a relaxing ambience. The accommodation comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, including rooms and suites and multi-bedroom cottages with full kitchens that are a top pick with families or even groups of friends. The grounds here are also lovely, with banana trees, palms, and sweet-scented flowers.

We Enjoyed Our Stay At Carolina Beach
We enjoyed our stay at Carolina Beach. Its what you imagine a beach vacation to be like. A comfortable amount of people on the beach unlike Ocean City Maryland which is overly crowded. The water was a pleasant temperature even for early June. The sand was not so hot that your feet could not stand it. Nice beach town with good restaurants and shopping. Cute boardwalk To complete your beach experience.

I Loved Carolina Beach and you can walk most places on the boardwalk. You need a vehicle to get around if you need to go somewhere farther away. A taxi is difficult to get and other transportation means are difficult are not available. I loved the food at Kate’s Pancakes and the Deck House. Most places on the boardwalk are difficult to get into for dining and if you are fortunate to get in one of them after 10 PM you only get served appetizers. The beach itself is wonderful.

On a wide white-sand stretch of beach in Kill Devil Hills, the Best Western Ocean Reef offers all suites accommodation. The suites are clean and comfortable but not exceptionally fancy. Still, it is a good choice for families, as the price point is good and the rooms are spacious and feature kitchenettes.
