Springfield Seems To Have A Real Problem With Homeless
Springfield seems to have a real problem with homeless people. We saw homeless, some appeared to be on drugs affecting their behavior, running across streets randomly, yelling at drivers and heckling & begging at intersections and out in front of restaurants & gas stations. We went a distance of about fifteen miles around the city to different areas, and saw homeless, so it was not limited to just one section of town. We stopped at a gas station that was next door to a vacant business were about 20 homeless ppl were camped on the sidewalk around the business. They were outside a complex of hotels begging at the only exit. Later they’d changed shifts and we saw different beggars. Sad for the residents who don’t seem to care enough about their city to even try to address it. It’s too small to have the amount of homeless congregating there and like most cities, probably understaffed by underappreciated law enforcement. Officials have to know there’s an issue, so what are they doing? Good luck Springfield, I won’t be back any time soon and will tell people I know to avoid it.

Breakfast was orange juice from a jug and a store bought honey bun. The office manager complained the entire time about having to pay Expedia and its partners 20%. So he charged us and extra $5 above what we were supposed to pay through booking.com. He tried to get me to pay even more. We booked a room with a single. We were put in a room with two queen beds and told if we used the other bed we would get charged $15. The guy get griping about never receiving email and asked me if I checked mine. I said yes I do and received an email with a couple minutes. I was looking for a cheap hotel but in the end it wasn’t worth what little bit I saved.

The Only Place To Stay In Springfield Mo
Upon arrival the checkin went smooth as clockwork like usual. Megan checked us in with the same effiency we have come to always expect there. The rooms are always kept extremely clean by Tammy and her staff, and everything always works as it should thanks to Bobby’s good work. Missed seeing Stephanie this trip, she is always full of energy and extremely fun to talk to and her and James always keep fresh popcorn and coffee in the lobby. Linda and her staff always keep the lobby very clean and are always a pleasure to visit with or handle anything you need. We had some special needs for our nephew we were bringing with us and informed them when we made reservations and every need was taken care of when we got there just as we were told they would be. Everyone at this property always goes out of there way to be friendly and help you with any need you might have. I would not stay anywhere else in Springfield.More

We Ate Breakfast At Ziggys It Was Amazing
We ate breakfast at Ziggys, it was amazing! We went to the farmers market which is a must for baked goods and tons of fresh fruits and vegetables. The battlefield mall is huge. We visited Pythian Castle, they really play into the fact that they believe it is haunted. It was okay. We ate at Wayo Japan, if you love sushi this is the place to go it was literally the best food! I would make the drive just to go there. As leaving we made the drive 17 min to Lamberts, if your close and go as its opening theres barely a line and foods great, amazing experience overall.
