My Husband And I Visited Saint Louis For A Baseball Game
My husband and I visited Saint Louis for a baseball game. We are Padres fan and went to watch them play the Cardinals. Unfortunately they lost but the sightseeing was fun. We were able to attend the Great Forrest Balloon race and that was a great experience. The Arch was beautiful and really cool to know the history behind it. We had Pappy’s for lunch and that was delicious. The flavors of the ribs and brisket were great. We had union station right across from our hotel, and it was nice to see it daily as it brought a smile to our face. We did visit Maggie’s Pub twice since it was within walking distance from our Hotel. It was a short trip, but we were able to see alot.

Reuben At Protzel’s Deli
Known as one of the last New York-style delis in St. Louis, Protzels does the Big Apple proud by doing the Reuben sandwich right. This old-school spot offers several variations on the iconic sandwich, but the standard pastrami Reuben is a classic for a reason. Hefty slices of Jewish rye bread are slathered with Russian dressing, then piled with pastrami, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese before being grilled into a golden-brown sandwich. The small will satisfy most, but if youre a big eater, go for the medium . And if you want leftovers, order the large .
