Eat A Big Breakfast Or Dinner
One thing thats Ive notice about Vegas is that there are a lot of delicious things to snack and munch on during the day.
Thats why usually when I go, I tend to either go to a breakfast buffet, snack during lunch, and eat an average sized dinner.
Not only does this help save me money , but it essentially allows me to skip lunch at any costs associated with it.
This wont work for everyone but I thoroughly enjoy implementing this tip.

What Else Is There For Ways To Get Hotel Discounts
Well, actually, there are many ways to get discounts or even free nights. However, this is not as easy as booking rooms at discounted rates online.
For example, there is the ominous $ 20 trick. In how far this still works I can not really judge. At check-in at the front desk, the hotel clerk unobtrusively puts $ 20 on the counter and asks for an upgrade. If the hotelier on it, he can see if by chance a better room is available.I have not tried it myself, but who wants to can try it.
The next option is for everyone who plans to play a lot in the casinos and not with dime amounts. For who wants to, can get a Players card and gets credited in slot games, poker, etc. points. These can then someday, among other things, for free nights or room upgrades redeem. In order to achieve enough points, you should already make more than $ 100 in sales, otherwise, nothing will get around.
Anyone who Las Vegas, by the way, usually gets an upgrade, usually a suite, if you ask nicely at the reception and tell about it. At least thats what I heard.
Well, I think these were a few suggestions to help you find a cheap room or even an affordable suite in Las Vegas.

Cheap Airline Tickets Anytime Anywhere
If you search for flights to Las Vegas four weeks before your proposed departure date, comparing flight prices across the month will allow you to see which deal is best for you. Enter your origin airport and McCarran International Airport as your destination.
Now, select whole month for your search result and you will see prices available for each day. This allows you to look for savings before you book your flights. If you are flexible about the dates of your travel then there will be more opportunity for you to secure the best travel deal.
Why Are Las Vegas Hotels Cheap
Because Vegas resort operators make a huge chunk of their profits down on the casino floor, where the house always has the advantage, cheap room rates are offered to attract guests who will then spend their money on slots and tables.
Beware when booking though, as a resort fee could inflate hotel prices much higher. I’ve seen rooms for $50 per night with an $80 daily resort fee. Of course, in high season or during big events, all rates are subject to change, and starting price points can soar.

You Can Find A Great Hotel Deal
It’s definitely possible to find a great hotel deal when traveling to Las Vegas in January. For example, if you stay at Oasis At Gold Spike, which is located on Las Vegas Blvd, you could stay in a room for three nights from Thursday, January 7 to Sunday, January 10, 2020, for $316.81 USD, according to Booking.com. Of course, many other hotels for the same dates will be much more than that, but it’s a good example of how you can find an incredible deal during this month in Las Vegas.
According to Trip Advisor, the hotel design is a “nod to the classic architecture of 1960s Las Vegas.” There are 119 restaurants close to this hotel, and reviews call it “clean” and “modern” and “pleasant.” One thing to note is that Gold Spike Oasis’s 7th-floor penthouse was on the MTV reality series Real World, which many people enjoy seeing.
You can grab some food at Fiddlestix, which is part of the hotel. There are some really fun foods on the menu ranging from Chicken Fingers to a Peanut Butter Cup Milkshake to Pizza Fries.
To Save Money On Drinks Play Slots On The Casino Floor
I got this tip from Nomadic Matt. To save money on drinks, pop a squat on a penny or nicely slot machine and play slowly. In no time a waitress will come around providing you with free drinks. Be sure to drink quickly and tip nicely and youll be on your way to at least 5 free drinks.
Then you can head to the nightclub without having to pay those ridiculous drink prices.

Best Airbnb In Downtown Las Vegas: Room With Family Just Off The Strip
They call it the 420 friendly room. Take that how you want it, but needless to say, this room is for the traveler who enjoys a super chill time in the city and will be doing more on the strip than they will in the room. The cozy bed with dark shades is EXACTLY what you need after a night or morning buried in slot machines on the strip.
Transport In Las Vegas
If you are staying on the strip and want to spend your time predominately exploring the hotels and casinos also on the strip, then transport costs arent really a thing to worry about.
- Deuce Bus This Double Decker bus drives visitors up and down the Boulevard 24/7 stopping at all the major casinos. Two-hour passes cost $6, 24 hour passes cost $8 and 3 day passes cost $20.
- RTC Bus Buses that dont run up and down the main strip cost a more reasonable $1-$2 per trip.
- Free Monorail There are two free monorails one that runs between The Mirage and Treasure Island and the other than runs between Excalibur, Luxor and Mandalay Bay.
- Las Vegas Monorail The Las Vegas Monorail runs along the back of the strip from MGM up to Ballys. Tickets cost $5 one way or $12 for a day pass. Personally, we didnt use this monorail because it is so pricey for the length you travel.
- Rent a car If you want to explore the national parks like Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon or the incredible Joshua Tree National Park, then you will want to rent a car. You can always do this for part of your trip.
- Taxis Taxis are all over Vegas and of course, the cost varies depending on traffic and distance. When you arrive in Las Vegas Airport, you will see a list of all the Vegas hotels and the taxi rate from the airport to The Cosmopolitan is cost us $22. Meters start at $3.30 and increase by $2.60 per mile.

How To Eat At 5 Star Restaurants On A One Star Budget
Las Vegas restaurants are the busiest between 8-10 pm, which makes it harder to score a table.
Thankfully, most of these restaurants will run a pre-theater or happy hour menu between 4-7 pm.
Youll still get the same amazing quality meal, just at a cheaper price.
Here are some 5 star restaurants that you can eat at quite affordably. I say affordably because youll still be paying anywhere from $50-$90 per person but the quality of these restaurants can easily run you $200 or more in any other major city.
- LAtelier Joel Rubuchon at the MGM Grand
- Picasso at the Bellagio
- Eiffel Tower Restaurant at the Paris Las Vegas
- Jean Georges Steakhouse at the Aria
- Twist by Pierre Gagniere at the Mandarin Oriental
You should also consider getting one of these restaurants credit cards thatll help you save money on your dining costs.
Heck one of these cards helped me eat at a 5 star restaurant for FREE.
