Moab Is A Beautiful Natural Arqueological Place
Moab is a beautiful natural arqueological place… lots to do.. Hiking to the arches… the arches national parking is huge, you pay $30 entrance fee, you can enter to the park 7 days with this tickets… I do advice to go early to avoid queues at the entrance…. first arches you should visit is Delicate arches the photo above… from the entrance to the Delicate arches is about 30 minutes drive.. and another 1 hour if you are quickly hiker to the Delicate arches – isn’t difficult hike… bring lots of water… and take your time… I saw kids, seniors all type of people doing the hiking…. What will see upthere is unbelievable…. stunning views….
Best Place To Stay In Southwest Utah
If youre starting out at Zion National Park, I definitely recommend staying at Under Canvas Zion for an amazing glamping experience if you have the budget to splurge a bit. These luxury yurts have king size beds and all the comforts of home, except immersed in nature with beautiful views!
After Zion, I recommend staying in Kanab, UT which is central to other spots in Southwest Utah. Ive stayed at both the Quality Inn Kanab and Travelodge Kanab. Both are in a good location and are affordable. Alternatively, you could stay at a cool VRBO in Kanab such as this cool house with epic views of surrounding red rock formations!
Kanab is also close to the border of Arizona, where there are other amazing spots to check out as well. Check out my Arizona/Utah Road Trip Itinerary for the deets.

When it comes to picking the perfect hotel, there are so many essential factors price, comfort, location, to name a few. However, these are my favorite places to stay near Arches National Park when weighing it all.
- Red Cliffs Lodge combines luxurious resort-style amenities with an incredibly scenic landscape. Though 25 minutes from the Arches Entrance Station, a stay at the Red Cliffs Lodge offers you a memorable vacation locale while still being close enough for day trips into Arches National Park. Best of all, this popular resort doesnt break the bank, with rooms starting at around $200 per night.
- Best Western Plus Canyonlands Inn is a top pick thanks to its fantastic location in the heart of Moab and its budget-friendly pricing. Rooms here start around $200 per night. Sunflower Hill Inn
The Sunflower Hill Inn is a boutique hotel of 12 rooms. Choose from a guest room in one of the farm houses, the ranch house or a garden cottage. Each room comes with a patio or a balcony.
The decoration throughout the Inn make you feel like youre in your grandmothers pristine plantation home. This Moab bed and breakfast has a lot of character I especially love the rocking chairs on the porch.
The grounds are beautiful and filled with flowers. There is a BBQ area for grilling, spa, pool and hot tub on site. This is a great place to get peace and quiet and truly unwind. There is an option for breakfast every morning along with fresh baked cookies in the lounge area which are always a treat after a long day of hiking.
The location is great, off the main drag in Moab but still close enough to several restaurants, a brewery and a few super markets. A wonderful Moab lodging option.
Red CLiffs Lodge Moab
A Top Pick of where to stay in Moab Utah
If youre looking for a beautiful location right on the scenic Colorado River then the Red Cliffs Lodge is where to stay near Moab. Opt for a balcony room with views of the river so you can sip a glass of wine during sunset as you take in the views.
Speaking of wine, the Castle Creek Winery sits on property which features a large deck that overlooks the Colorado River. There is also a restaurant on site that is open from March to December.

Located in downtown Moab just off the main street the Moab Food Truck Park should not to be missed. With offerings for breakfast lunch and dinner this area makes for a very affordable place to get a bite to eat. This is a very popular place to eat so if youre planning on eating here go early because once a truck runs out of food they typically close down for the day! We learned this the hard way when we had our heart set on a quesadilla after a good ride and the truck had already closed.
