There was nothing to like about this Hotel. I would rather sleep in my car and shower at a truck stop. This was just an overnight stop on our way to Providence, R.I. so I can’t answer any questions about Albany because we only stayed in this hotel to get a few hours sleep. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Westland Hills Dog Park 2012
Enter via Colvin Avenue .3 sides of fenced in park have tall aged trees and it is quite green and serene on warmer months.A community water bowl is used and to be washed out if water is turned on at spigot.Friendly dogs and owners and don’t be taken aback if someone notifies you of your dog leaving a gift out of your eyesight.Albany PD do patrol this park so be sure to have your pet leashed outside of the fenced in area.

The Appellate Division Of State Supreme Court’s Order To Stay The Legislation Effectively Reinstates The Law Until An Appeal Is Resolved Next Year
A court ruling will allow Albany’s good-cause eviction law to remain in place while the city appeal’s a lower court’s ruling that overturned the ordinance.
ALBANY A midlevel state court issued a stay Tuesday that allows the citys good-cause eviction law to remain in effect while it appeals a lower-level judge’s decision to overturn the ordinance.
The one-page order from the Appellate Division of state Supreme Court also laid out the timeline for attorneys representing the city and the landlords who oppose it to file their arguments. The matter is scheduled for the court’s January 2023 term.
The citys legislation, the first of its kind passed in the state, required that landlords meet one of 10 conditions to qualify as having good cause to evict a tenant. It was a part of a larger package of legislation meant to address housing and code-enforcement issues in the city.
Several other cities, including Kingston and Beacon, followed suit after Albany’s legislation was approved in July 2021.
Advocates of good-cause eviction measures have argued that they prevent predatory rent hikes and give tenants greater power in lease negotiations. Landlords have argued they amount to rent control and infringe on their property rights.
Several landlords filed a lawsuit last November challenging the law, arguing it violated state laws that guided tenant-landlord relationships. On June 30, state Supreme Court Judge Christina Ryba ruled in their favor.
