The Cedar City Shakespeare Festival is Amazing! The quality of theatre is top-notch! We also drove out to see the Parowan Gap Petroglyphs. The Pastry Pub has great food and is within walking distance. Their breakfast croissant is not to be missed and the All American Diner was surprisingly good. If you want a really good steak dinner Milts and Rusty’s up the canyon are also good options.The rock church and an independent bookstore are also within walking distance of the accommodations.

Cedar City is a great place to visit. I came for the Utah Shakespeare Festival, but there are many events throughout the year. Cedar Breaks National Monument, Zion and Bryce National Parks are accessible. It is easy to get around Cedar City once you understand the numerical grid system of addresses – very few streets are named.I had car trouble on my trip and I highly recommend Nosso Auto for anyone needing repairs during a trip.

Good Place To Stay In Cedar City
The Super 8 in Cedar City, UT is very nice. Our room was clean, spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently lactated just off of Interstate 15, not far from the Kolb Canyon area of Zion National Park. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. Checking in and out was efficient. We were not traveling with a pet, but the Super 8 is pet-friendly. We would stay here again if we come back to Cedar City.

Bathroom had a small leak, sink in bedroom slow to drain, outdated and room, could hear neighbor snore all night. Front desk help very courteous. Easy to check in and out. Great location.

Although it has been a few years since we visited this property , I was pleased that the Desais were still the managers. I was also extremely pleased with our room. Everything was clean and in good repair. Although the breakfast was somewhat limited, it was good, and helped make for an excellent stay. “Mel” was very welcoming when I called, and that, yes he would accommodate us arriving after 11:15 pm. We have stayed here numerous times, and if the Desai family is still managing, we will continue to do so. Great value, great hospitality!

A Great Place To Stay In Cedar City
I stay at Springhill Suites whenever I can, and this one is definitely true to form. Helpful staff and friendly service. Great rooms and great beds. The hotel was completely full but we didn’t hear a thing in our room. The desk in the room was great for working. Breakfast was just fine, eggs and sausage, fruit, waffles, muffins, bagels, etc. We didn’t have time to use the pool or the exercise room but both looked good. Overall it was a great stay. Didn’t hurt that we got a great rate also.

We stayed here en froute from Salt Lake City to Tucson. When we got there we were treated warmly and got right into a noce mid-sized room. Overall a good place to stay, although breakfast on Tuesday morning was a bit chaotic- too many skiers trying to get out the door I think- the hotel staff was a bit overtaxed. But otherwise a great place to stay.

stayed at this hotel as our first stop – heading to Yellowstone from California. The hotel is walking distance to the movie theater and restaurants. The gas station is also located at the corner. They gave us cookies – which was the first time i’ve experienced it with Hampton. I liked that.The not so good part was that, there is no microwave nor fridge in the room. the coffee maker is in the bathroom . It is a weird location for a coffee maker. Wish they placed it on the table by the TV.Overall, it’s a good location
