Hotel Villa Durrueli Resort & Spa: a quiet spa hotel, five minutes walk from the beach. The hotel offers, in addition to the rest, an outdoor pool, a spa with whirlpool and steam bath, and free breakfast.
If you are looking for a cheap accommodation, I suggest you take a look at Hotel europa, a family-run hotel with thermal pool located in the historic center of Ischia, just 200 meters from the beach.
Will You Be Eating Out Or Cooking For Yourself
If youre looking for self-catering in Ischia, choosing your location carefully is a must, especially if you wont have a car. We stayed in a hotel between Ischia Porto and Ischia Ponte and if wed been self-catering we would have struggled to buy food for our meals. There are some small food shops but they dont have much of a range. Forio could be a better location instead, as there are supermarkets and a market for fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.
If you do have your own transport, then youll find a number of large supermarkets across the island. The produce in Ischia is outstanding so try to choose local products if you can the local wines are fantastic as well.

This diminutive white church perched above the water in the town centre was originally part of a 14th-century Augustinian monastery its side chapel and dome were added in 1791 and 1854 respectively, the latter rebuilt after the 1883 earthquake. The view from the top of Mount Epomeo is one of the best in Italy. There are various paths you can take to get to the top, but I recommend the walk from Serrara Fontana that leads up to the peak. Along the way, there are also a couple of restaurants where to stop.
