Beautiful Grounds And Lots Of Options In Facilities As Well
Beautiful grounds and lots of options in facilities as well as room choices. Landscaping just incredible, several restaurants, tennis courts, spa, golf etc. Our bungalow had a great terrace with fireplace and view of mtns, the bathroom was spacious, the room itself good size with nice seating and work table. The space could use a refresh, however, our patio furniture was in poor condition and room a bit tired but certainly not shabby. The restaurant we chose was disappointing, understaffed pricey and not very good. Perhaps the steak house was better but we are not meat eaters. Loved being able to walk grounds, a wonderful family place or retreat for groups. Super helpful desk staff.

I stayed at La Quinta USF with my son and my friends to leave ours sons at USF for summer pre-college program. We had a short stayed only four days but they were great. Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. This is my first time in Tampa and they help us with directions and recommendations of places to go. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was really good. I enjoyed the pool every morning before going to do our errands. I would recommend the hotel for its location very closed to restaurants, friendly staff and easy access to the highways.

Room was clean, staff was helpful. In the washroom you have to pull a gold ring underneath the faucet in the tub to turn the shower on. I found that kinda strange. We took the subway into town. It took about 1/2hr on subway or a bus took us down 5th ave. That took about 40mins. Small shops around, McDonalds beside it for a late night snack. Breakfast was pretty good. The only fruit I saw were bananas. Few cereals, bagels, scrambled egg and sausage. Personally my biggest concern was the commute into Manhattan. Going in was fine but we ended up taking cabs back most of the time. If you are going to take a cab, try going North near Central Park. The ride was the cheapest from there. Average was $20-$30 for a cab.

The only negative was when I was leaving and I was in the golf cart I wasnt aware of the space that Cart went through was so tight and my foot got yanked back and hurt my knee other than that it was a good stay. I would instruct the bellman to let everybody know to keep your arms and legs in because of the tight space thank you

Website is inaccurate
Reviewed By stayceeee
If you book this hotel with the expectation that their website/app is accurate, dont. They state that they have their evening social Monday – Thursday but the website is lying as they already have a permanent sign stating its only on Wednesdays. Theyve had plenty of time to change their website and have had complaints and wont change it. Hotel itself is fine, breakfast is fine, pool is pretty well taken care of. I would not stay here again based on the fact that you cant really trust them. Its a decent place to stay but if you come into town thinking they have an evening social as their website/app promises, youll be disappointed.

Let me start by saying Laquinta has been my go to hotel for the Last 5 years when travelling. This laquinta had me scratching my head.Requeste two rooms for 4 family members that were attending a funeral. We stayed in rooms 109 and 111. Room 111 was ok but the carpet was old and mold in the bottom corners of the tub/shower.109 had old carpet, mirror corner chewed by a dog I think, mold in the shower. When I filled up the bath tub and the water had a reddish brown in color. I think it is just iron. There also has a cigarette burn on the sink granite counter top.It looks like there is renovation in progress. The staff is helpful a very professional. KHALLI was great. The breakfast is good and near by the casino’s. Oh*** they did not accept points for rooms. I would stay there again if the prices were more in line with other La Quinta’s, the renovation continues and points are accepted
