I’ve come to Mammoth Lakes every summer for six years now. I can’t get enough of it!!! Beautiful town…..friendly locals everywhere….in the hotels, stores, restaurants!!! Calm safe place especially coming from the San Francisco Bay area……high altitude….about 8,000 ft in town…..serene…clean air….no crime…..quiet…..all the things that someone from the city needs to relax!!! I’ve stayed at Motel 6 many times, Cinnamon Bear Inn and Mammoth Mountain Inn…..all great places with great friendly staff….I just left Mammoth Lakes two days ago…and I can’t wait to return!!!!! I’ve gone there in the summer and would love to return in the winter! The ski season just ended on June 4th…..so I got to watch people skiing on Mammoth Mountain…Wow!!! Also Mammoth is the best places for people to ride bicycles…great paths…..and no cars to ruin your ride!!! Just pure enjoyment!!! This time I went to Lake Mary and Lake George…and the Minnerets view….oh that mountain air…and so breathtakingly beautiful…….Mammoth Lakes is Magical!!!!
