I am just finishing a four-night stay the the Newberg Inn and am very satisfied. This is my fourth stay at this hotel, and it’s even better than before as they have replaced the carpeting and furniture. The front desk staff, especially the manager, are very friendly, helpful, and responsive. I’ve always booked mini-suites, which are extra long rooms with a couch, comfortable chair and desk in the sitting area that is walled off by a half-wall. The exercise room is small, but functional. There is a very clean guest laundry and nice indoor pool. The breakfast is normal continental fare, with a waffle maker. There is a nice breakfast room with sufficient seating. I normally stay in Hiltons and Marriotts, so am used to very nice hotels. The Newberg Inn is not in that class, but it’s one of the nicest Best Westerns I’ve ever stayed in. The only downside is that there is no elevator. If stairs are an issue, make sure you book a downstairs room.More

We Really Like Newberg
We really like Newberg. Its small and cute, with at least two coffee shop/used book stores, a great pet store where you can actually pet the animals, and yummy restaurants!! Also theres a great little plant store and a gift shop thats attached to a bed and breakfast that we all love too. Great for families, and great area for wine-tasting as well!

The room and the whole hotel were very clean. All staff were friendly. The complimentary breakfast offered just about every choice I’ve ever seen at a complimentary breakfast. I don’t personally care for the new small pillows that most hotels seem to use these days, but they were comfortable. The only detractor was a lack of an elevator. I definitely would return to this location!

The majority of Newburg is not very cute but it has a lot to offer. All of the surrounding towns are cuter but don’t have as many amenities so we found ourselves going back to Newburg for things we couldn’t get elsewhere. The actual historic downtown is pretty cute with coffee shops and boutiques and the surrounding area has some good restaurants.

The resort is tailor made for a wonderful romantic getaway, but even if you are solo as I was, you will be so well treated and looked after you will forget that you are on your own. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely B& B at the beginning of Nov. 2016. Our room had wonderful views of the Oregon landscape and was very clean and comfy. The innkeeper, Kristin, was very helpful in making suggestions for dinner and various wineries to visit. We very much enjoyed the delicious breakfasts during our stay as well as the yummy chocolate chip cookies that my husband sampled over and over. Thanks so much for making our trip a pleasant one.

A group of my friends and I stayed at Chehalem Ridge last week for two nights and had the most wonderful time. The property is perched on the mountain and overlooks the city. The Inn was beautifully kept and the innkeepers were very helpful-even going as far as helping us put together our boxes of wine to bring home. Added bonus-the breakfast each morning is amazing!
