Efficiencies have full-size appliances, and a rooftop sundeck is furnished with chaise lounges. Two nearby restaurants offer discounts to guests at the Sun Tan. Beach Walk Hotel , another traditional 1930s Ocean City property with a large porch, offers standard rooms and efficiencies. The hotel is one block from the boardwalk. Ocean Mecca Motel is one of the few cheap motels that fronts the boardwalk. The motel has an oceanfront swimming pool and offers standard rooms and efficiencies with full kitchens. The Empress also has an outdoor pool but is only open from April to October. Talbot Inn , located on the bay side of Ocean City offers efficiencies with kitchenettes and balconies. The adjacent bar and grill, built over the water, has live entertainment during the summer. Note that rates can go up to $100 or more during the high season for all of these accommodations.
