Geography Confusion On Vrbo
We are planning to ski at Deer Valley and I’m trying to find a place on vrbo.com. We will have a rental car. On vrbo, the areas on broken out by North Park City, South Park City, The Canyons, Jordanelle, Deer Valley, Old Town North and Old Town South. The problem is that it has not legend for the distance. Are all these places within a 20 minute car drive?
Park City is not a huge city. You can get from the Canyons to Deer Valley in 20 minutes. If you only want to ski Deer Valley, I would find somewhere there to save a little bit of hassle.
You can try for distances and orientation.
Downtown Park City is really neat with lots of restaurant choices. The Canyons is a nice resort and self-contained. Skiing/riding is realy good. Park City Mountain is a nice mountain with a green run that goes from close to the top of the mountain all the way down. Have not skiied Deer Valley, but everything I have heard indicates it is an excellent mountain with outstanding service. Enjoy the trip.
