The treehouse is fully suspended in the trees. Its spiral stair case, banister, and other pieces in and around the home were built from trees in the area. Lola Maalouf said they wanted to construction to be sustainable.
The coupled added that theyve seen deer, coyotes, and bears walk by.

The House Of Seven Gables

Nathaniel Hawthorne, author and grandson of Judge Hawthorne who was involved in the witch trials, created a novel called The House of Seven Gables. The novel was inspired by the Turner-Ingersoll Mansion, a gabled house in Salem. The book is painted with suggestions of witchcraft and the supernatural, so reading before visiting is recommended. The house is available for tours Monday-Friday and lasts about 30-45 minutes. Various programs are available throughout the year, with performances throughout October. Sunrise Farm Is A Charming Bed And Breakfast In Salem Sc
Built in 1890, the farmhouse served as the residence for a family who grew cotton on 350 acres of land. Three generations of their descendants lived in the house and continued farming the land for over a hundred years.
Eventually, much of land was sold off and the house changed hands. Several years ago a couple bought the property and established a bed and breakfast in the house. In 2018 they sold the business to Greg and Suzanne Humphreys. Greg and Suzanne updated the rooms and created additional sleeping quarters in two outbuildings. This used to be a great place. However the homelessness, shuttered businesses and a general feeling of helplessness makes it a great place to avoid. A better choice might be Mogadishu or perhaps a quick tour of Venezuela! They may be safer alternatives as well! Salem is joining Portland, Seattle and San Francisco for a destroyed infrastructure. The Left Coast is going down the drain. Do yourself a favor and stay away.It is very sad to see this once lovely place slide into decay. But it is and it is going down quickly! If you like watching people pooping on the street, then this is your place. Personally I find it truly disgusting!
