- Trip type: Traveled as a couple
- Sleep Quality
I wanted to get out and enjoy Alaska. Not only is Talkeetna a cute little town, but the roadhouse was a neat place to stay. It’s affordable for sure. It has a very hostel like feel to it. If people being close to you and sharing a bathroom is not your thing, move on to the next option. It’s an old place so the floors creak and it is close quarters. However, stay for breakfast. The cinnamon rolls are killer amazing. Can’t wait to go back!
Nothing can beat getting away for the weekend with family. You will find this place charming and exactly what the doctor ordered for some R& R. Memories to last a lifetime. Coffee in tbe morning and puzzles in the evening. A great way to reconnect.
