Oviatt House Bed And Breakfast
Built in 1900, Oviatt House Bed and Breakfast is located near downtown Traverse City in Old Town. The historic centennial home was built by an apprentice blacksmith who moved to the city from Scotland in 1891. There are six rooms, and along with the rest of the house, all of them are decorated with furniture from the 1750s to 1850s.
A full organic, fresh breakfast is served every morning, but cold and hot drinks are available all day. You can also get a glass of local wine in the evenings. The bed-and-breakfast has a garden deck, a small kitchen, and a comfortable living room as well.

We really enjoyed our last minute stay in Traverse City. The hotel was perfect. The hospitality was amazing the front desk called our room to make sure we were all settled in to our room ok. It has been years a hotel has done that! The pool and hot tub area very nice clean. The hot tub was large and not overly hot, perfect!The breakfast was great such a great variety of breakfast foods. And to top it all of they had hot coffee and fresh cookies all day!!

Great Place To Stay And Pet Friendly
My wife and I along with our little dog stayed at the Country Inn on Aug. 11th and 12th 2013. We did not have reservations until the day we arrived. We had made reservations months prior at another hotel in Traverse City. After viewing the room we were given, we decided this hotel wasn’t for us! My wife called Country Inn, we had stayed there when it was called Days Inn. They had a room for us! Upon our arrival at the Country Inn we found that the person had made a mistake about the pet friendly room. The manager on duty Mike took care of the problem. He gave us an upgraded room! Country Inn is very clean, employees are very good, the morning breakfast buffet is excellent.Our place to stay in Traverse City from now on will always be the Country Inn! Thank you Country Inn.More

Excellent price with many good amenities like a hot breakfast of real scrambled eggs , sausage, potatoes , fruit , oatmeal, etc. The pool and whirlpool were larger than most motels . The rooms were clean and well taken care of by maid service . Staff was very friendly and cordial with free cookies at the front desk .
