The Motel Was A Welcome Sight After A Very Long Drive
The motel was a welcome sight after a very long drive. Motels were few and far between in this area. We were glad that someone was operating a Best Western. The room could have been cleaner and the bed had two by fours under the box springs that stuck out about 6 inches. Needless to say, I was not very happy when I scraped the hide off of my leg on one of the boards.

The room is nice, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice, fresh with real eggs and fresh biscuits. The breakfast room lady is very personable and friendly. This was a very nice hotel with a great & friendly staff. Our room was very clean, and the lobby & pool area was sparkling clean. Breakfast was great & the hot tub felt so good after being in the car all day. This was a very well run hotel and I would stay here again if in the area.

Great Place To Stay In Wakeeney Ks
Traveling to California this was our first night on the road. We stayed in Wakeeney, KS. We have never stayed in a Best Western Plus before. The hotel was very clean. They offer free breakfast in the mornings and free WIFI. I do believe their is a pool and spa area however it was closed for cleaning and repairs the time of our stay. We had a king size room which was very clean. It offered a microwave and fridge as well as coffee maker and iron and ironing board. I don’t think this hotel is pet friendly. I do know the hotel is 100% smoke free. We would definately choose this hotel again if we are ever in Wakeeney. Great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.More
