Our final destination of Priora lies to the southeast of Sorrento. It is a primarily residential town, located roughly a 20-minute walk from Sorrento, in the hills inland. The primary reason that most people will choose to stay in Priora is that it is affordable for those on a budget.

How To Get To The Sorrento Coast
We made our way to the Sorrento Coast via a 1:50 hour direct flight from Vienna to Naples. At the airport our patience was tested while waiting for a rental car. It was a Friday around noon and it seemed everyone had arrived at the same time.
Our rental car company Sicily by Car was one of the smaller firms at the airport. This way we had a rather short line and only waited for approx. 30 minutes. We suggest not to rent from the big name rental companies here the lines at their desks were insane !
Unfortunately this wasnt our rental car, but on the other hand: Ours had an AC and other modern comforts
Theoretically the drive from the Naples Airport to Massa Lubrense takes just a little more than 1 hour. But we stopped at too many occasions for some incredible look-out spots and Lemon Granita along the way.
Theres always a good reason for a stopover at the coastal road: Views or Lemon Granita!
Things To See And Do In Piazza Tasso:
People-watch on the square. Pick a time to catch the Passagiata, the Italian tradition of taking a stroll in the evening. Dress smart!
Visit the information centre just off the Piazza for advice on day-trips or drives to see the Amalfi Coast.
Cool off by the waters of the Marina Piccola where, legend has it, the Sirens seduced Ulysses!
Soak up a bit of history in Vallone Dei Mulini, while enjoying the lush valleys rivers.
Have a leisurely dinner on the square, taking your time to enjoy the food, the ambience and the views!
