Weve been going to Santa Fe every year on spring break since moving to New Mexico in 2015. I love this city so much. We always walk the downtown area when we first arrive and the day we leave just to pick up souvenirs or to shop the stores. During our stay we travel to places such as Bandelier, tent rocks, Taos pueblo, nambe falls, chayo, and the gorge etc… and hike for the day come back and enjoy a nice dinner somewhere in town. This place has so much to offer

The most disappointing and terrible facility ever encountered with a Wyndham name. We checked in,were given a room key, wlked in and a workman was working at entry on electrical problem, putty everywhere. Went down and recd another room key. Smalles room ever no chairs to sit on barhroom was able to hold one person sink was old and greenish tried to make hot tea and worker came up to advise electrical outlet in bathroom doesn’t work so made on floor, so-called blanket was a heavy material-just what you do not want to sleep with! Breakfast was 15mins late:no juice,hotwater.and NEVER any eggs or meats.Hoeeible tosay the least when inquired of kitchen employee, she spoke no english and didn’t care that we wanted oatmeal but no water no milk & this was at 640! Room not nearly big enuf for two adults, one teen so ver y very disappointing when a friend was sta ying at a marriott nearby for 47$/nite we paid 64$! I asked for mgr to request 50% refund but the manager was not availble from 7am-Noon. This facility needs to be sold or torn down and built from foundation on up!More

Now that the sun has set, you may have an appetite. Head back into town along Route 66, the Mother Road of America. Route 66 is one of Americas most iconic road trips. It might seem like a long drive, but we think watching the sunset from Sandia Peak makes it worth the extra effort.
Route 66 runs along Central Avenue, passing through Albuquerques quirky Nob Hill neighborhood. This is where youll find the most classic Americana, with everything from glowing retro neon signs to night clubs and classic 1930s motels. The neon makes it an especially pretty drive after dark.
This stretch of Route 66 is unique. Dont miss it, because once you leave, youll regret not having taken the time to check it out.
