A Cool Oregon Hotel In Yachats: Hike And Dine Just Feet From The Ocean’s Edge
Yachats is the type of town that is rightly described as quaint. When youre here, the rhythms of the ocean guides your days â theres no movie theater or shopping in sight, other than small mom-and-pop stores.
Yachats Adobe Resort is adjacent to the public 804 Trail, which was originally a native footpath and now meanders along the shore, across the oceanside lawn of the Adobe, and even through some backyards.
The Adobes restaurant and lounge has magnificent views of the ocean, which surges just 50 feet away from your table. Enjoy casual yet delicious meals from the lounge menu such as a salmon BLT, or more upscale surf and turf meals from the dining room. Start your day off with traditional hearty breakfasts like biscuits and gravy, a seafood omelet, or eggs benedict.
If you really want to relax in one of the oceanside rooms and you want something a little extra, request the fruit and cheese plate with a bottle of champagne and keepsake flutes.

Note clumps of lavender, California poppies, and the Oregon Bluebonnet during the spring.

- Fall is every bit as beautiful in Ashland as it is in Northern Oregon. Leaves paint the town autumn, the gourmet coffee shops offer cinnamon and spice flavors, and the air stays cold and crisp.

Where To Get Coffee
After growing up in nearby Medford, Jamie North didnt think shed come back to this part of the world. But the third-generation restaurant owner improved Ashlands coffee scene exponentially when she established Mix, a coffee shop and bakery, in 2006. Serving Stumptown coffee and an array of golden croissants , Mix is a downtown staple for a pre-river rafting cappuccino or a post-theatre ice cream cone. In May, North opened Remix, a new location uptown highlighting a more savory menupressed sandwiches, hummusfrom head baker Lily Hudson. With a creamery eventually set to open next door, Norths brand of fresh, feel-good food will soon be stocked across town. I feel like Ive gone from being a chef to more of a community builder, North tells Vogue.
Another newly expanded roastery is Case Coffee. Founders Tim and Kati Case settled in a location near Southern Oregon University in 2006, and opened a second café in the heart of downtown this January. Housed in the former location of beloved institution Pucks Donuts, Case pays tribute to the former 40-year tenant with a full range of fried dough, from classic crullers to organic, vegan varieties. For a quieter coffee in a more secluded spot, visit Noble, a roastery and café with high ceilings and multiple pourover options for budding connoisseurs.

This is a review for hotels near Ashland, OR 97520:
“We were resuming our visit to the Shakespeare Festival after the 2 year Covid hiatis and I wanted a place to stay that did not have large indoor shared spaces . I discovered this boutique inn that offered Contactless Checkin, outdoor breakfast area, and separate street entrances for most of the suites. Each room is themed after a different location on the globe, a balcony overlooking the creek and an air purifier. Beautiful accomodations, and amazing breakfasts served outdoors next to the creek. Most days we did not feel the need to eat lunch the breakfasts were so filling. An easy walk to theaters, restaurants and shops.”
