All the workers there are travellers themselves, and can give great recommendations for the city and the rest of Hungary. Be ready for some late nights, and to make friends thatll last better than the hazy beer-addled memories.

Fishermans Bastion And Mattias Church
THIS is what fairy tales are made of.
How is this place real? Fishermans Bastion is an incredible neo-gothic and Romanesque style castle and its so pretty! Its hard to believe that it was partially destructed during WW2.
The restorations have dolled it right back up, though.
I literally felt like a princess wandering the grounds of this magical site, taking in the views from its small arched windows, and pretending I was in a flowing gown as I gracefully ascended and descended on its steps.
Mattias Church is seen just behind the castle and is quite the beaut as well.
The colorful tiled roofs were vivid and its ornately designed walls were simply jaw-droppingly gorgeous.
Unfortunately, we came too late to go inside on our first visit and the second visit we came to find out it was closed as a wedding was taking place inside. I bet she felt like a queen getting married in there!

We have visited Budapest twice. First time during spring and the last trip we enjoyed Budapest in winter, a cold but beautiful experience. The thermometers were marking temperatures below zero, we got a heavy snowfall and the Danube river was frozen. The city was stunning, magical and freezing.

Terzvros : The Best Area To Stay In Budapest For A Hit Of Culture
Terézváros is a small but busy neighbourhood located just off the main downtown area. The district has become the citys unofficial cultural and artistic hub, with many theatres, galleries and performance spaces. Its full of grand apartment buildings, so the bustling crowds that fill the streets every day of the week are mainly residents going about their day, as well as the odd tourist exploring the area.
Most travellers stick to Andrássy út, the main boulevard bisecting Terézváros. Its leafy and wide, with elegant buildings that have been renovated to maintain their old-world grandeur. The southern end of this street is where youll find upmarket stores with high ceilings and marble floors think Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Hungarian high-end fashion. District Ii 2nd District
District II is known to offer spectacular views and clean air. Its also where you will find the rich quarters with impressive villas. Unless you wish to move to Budapest, I cant really recommend the District II for tourists as it is far away from all main attractions. You can, however, visit the Rose Hill to admire some great architecture. There are three baths in the area called Veli Bej, Kiraly Bath and Lukacs Thermal Bath.
Boscolo Budapest Autograph Collection
The Boscolo Budapest is one of the most traditional hotels in Budapest. The building with its magnificent courtyard is a landmark in its own right, and the hotels Café New York is one of the most famous coffee houses of the city.
