Stroll Around Regents Park
Regents Park lies adjacent to Primrose Hill, another of my favourite places to go in Camden.
Its a large green space that was named after King George IV, who before his coronation was often called the playboy prince.
He obviously had great taste in gardens, as to this day the park is a wonderful place to spend a morning or afternoon. In particular, the rose garden complete with over 12,000 roses is a particular highlight.
The park is also popular with local wildlife. There are many different species of birds found in the park, but perhaps everyones favourite resident is the adorable hedgehog. If you see one, be sure to get some pictures, but keep your distance so as not to frighten them!
Where To Stay In London With Kids
This is usually a tough one to answer as the answer depends on whether you are a family looking to save money or money is no object. If you are looking at quiet places to stay with kids as well as amenities for children then look at Greenwich, there are some Lovely flats in the area to rent as well as the beautiful Greenwich park for the kids to run around until their little hearts are content.
You also have places the around Hyde Park like Marylebone, Mayfair, Knightsbridge Paddington, and Kensington. You have the beautiful Hydepark with Pedlos on the Serpentine, there are beautiful cafes and galleries in the park, you can also find the beautiful Little Venice here as well as the and you are also close to the shopping Mecca that is Oxford street as well as theatres but not too close that you will be hit with the noise or hustle and bustle.
There is a great choice of hotels and homes to rent here too. The only thing to be aware of is that it tends to be pricier than places like Greenwich but you can still find bargains.

Kensington is the best area to stay for: Shopping, museums, luxury, cafes and celebrity spotting
Kensington is an upscale neighbourhood in West London with plenty of celeb appeal and lifestyle. The commercial heart of the district is Kensington High Street which can often be seen crowded with shoppers and tourists. You can browse antiques at stores along Kensington Church Street or more chic boutiques on Kensington High Street.
This is among the expensive neighbourhoods in London so expect to pay a premium to stay in Kensington, Knightsbridge and Earls Court. This is the area where you will find department stores like Harrods and Harvey Nichols in addition to the famous luxury boutiques.
Some of the entertainment areas include the Natural History Museum where you can see dinosaurs, and the Science Museum which gives you a hands-on experience of many of Londons museums to check out during your visit. Take in vintage furnishing at the Kensington Palace and enjoy live classical concerts at the Grand Royal Albert Hall. A short walk you could beexploring at Kensington Palace. Soak Up The Sun On Camden Beach
A beach? In London? Are you kidding?
Yes, you read that right you dont need to head off to Spain or Cornwall to enjoy the beach life, because London has its own.
Well, at least in summer.
To be fair, it is, of course, a man-made beach over 150 tonnes of sand are trucked in for the occasion but its still lots of fun. Throughout summer, both Londoners and visitors come to enjoy the sun and sand.
Throughout summer the beach also has a lineup of concerts and other events to enjoy, so take a look and the calendar before your beach day.
PS if you want to know where to find this slice of paradise its located at The Roundhouse.

The Dublin Castle Camden Town
One of the most famous pubs in Camden is Dublin Castle, whose history is rooted in legend. Originally opening its doors to railway workers, Dublin Castle has had some of the greatest grace their stage. Its mostly known for Madness, who performed regularly back when they were rising stars, as did many of the Britpop extraordinaires. From Amy Winehouse to Blur, The Killers, and Arctic Monkeys, the list goes on.
Despite only having a capacity of 200, Dublin Castle hosts four live bands each week and has been family-run for 28 years. Its a top venue for indie music and is thought of as the place to play for rising stars, with many musicians finding success later on.
But thats not the only reason why its a destination for music lovers. Dublin Castle brings a homely atmosphere to Camden town, with a great beer selection and DJs after the bands perform, you can sip a pint in this friendly pub, watching the world go by.

Spend Time At The Jewish Museum

The Jewish Museum shares the stories and history of Jewish people in Britain, with exhibitions devoted to both modern life and days gone by.
Some of the themes of the museum include faith, migration and culture. There are four permanent exhibitions as well as an ever-rotating selection of temporary exhibits.
The permanent collections feature various objects relating to the themes.
Some of the objects have spiritual significance, such as the 13th-century mikvah bath that is used for ritual cleansing. Another highlight is a beautiful 17th Century Ark, taken from a synagogue in Italy.
Other exhibits aim to tell the stories of everyday life for Jewish people over the decades. There is currently a tailoring workshop, reflecting the fact that many Jewish migrants worked in the textile industry in the early 20th century.
They also do guided walks around Camden, so its well worth taking a look at the website to see whats on during your visit.

Find Out About Folk Music At The Cecil Sharp House
Before Camden Town was all about jazz and indie music, there was folk. For centuries, UK artists have produced traditional folk songs and music.
However, the genre is certainly not relegated only to the pages of the history books. Folk has been reinvigorated in recent times, with the rise in popularity of bands like Mumford & Sons incorporating the style.
If you want to learn more about folk music and catch a gig, then I highly recommend the Cecil Sharp House. Its been a premier folk venue since the 1930s.
Nowadays, it holds a huge collection of memorabilia relating to folk music and dancing.
There are also frequent shows of everything from traditional folk dancing to modern pop/folk that you might have heard on the radio. There are also workshops, classes and courses if you fancy learning more.
Its also been named as one of the best live music venues in London. Just saying.
