We Live Only About 4 Hours Away

We live only about 4 hours away. It’s nice to come to a historical town, with lots of places to eat, places to shop, and architecture to admire. Rue to Jean is a great restaurant–my favorite French restaurant in the area. We walked everywhere as we enjoy walking–about to 6 miles in one day . Sidewalks are everywhere, but there are bike taxis too if one needs to rest and get to the next destination. We enjoy the history tours because Charleston maintains high standards for their tour guides . We did the ghost tour that combined accurate history with creepy stories. We went to the Open Air Market on Meeting to get a few gifts for family . We also walked by Rainbow Row. We also walked around the suburban areas to look at the great architecture. Avoid driving , but if you have to drive, their are parking garages and outdoor parking by the Open Air Market usually. Be careful when crossing streets as many run traffic lights . During the holiday, we also went to James Island to see the holiday lights–really well done and opens mid-November.
