We used to come to Eau Claire often when our son went to the University here however, we hadn’t been back in years. My, how it has changed … and yet stayed the same! We enjoyed seeing things we used to visit. Our main reason for being here was the Farm Technology Days 2021. Talk about being well-organized!! It was magnificent!! Getting there was so easy, and getting back in Eau Claire was easy, too. We went to a pizza place that we had taken our son and his friends to, and we discovered a very unique place that was in an old filling station. What fun!!!

Eau Claire Brewery Hoping
Wisconsin is known for beer so an Eau Claire brewery tour is a must. Start at the Lazy Monk Brewery, a brewery that has tons of classic Bavarian and European charm to it. Note, its cash-only.
Then, walk a block down to visit the Brewing Projekt, which hands-down has some of the most unique beers I have ever tasted. Youll find tons of Milkshake IPAs to sample Their tasting room is more bare-bones, but the beer Is truly original.
If you still have steam, head to K-Point on the south side of town.
Where To Stay
We didnt take advantage of any of the resort features while we were there. I think a lot of the resort features were closed either because of Covid-19 or because we stayed there during the week, not on a weekend.
Also: the resort has 107 unique suites!
We were generously upgraded to the Paris Honeymoon Suite because the AC was out in the room my boyfriend had originally booked for us. The Paris Honeymoon Suite was huge and absolutely gorgeous.
The Paris Honeymoon Suite offers a serene sanctuary. The suite is decorated in classic Parisian style that will take you away on a truly romantic experience. The Paris Honeymoon suite includes one king bed, a queen sleeper sofa in the living space area, one bathroom, a full Jacuzzi whirlpool, two fireplaces, a wet bar, and a table with chairs.
My boyfriend and I loved walking around Carson Park. There are so many beautiful trails in Carson Park.
Aside from the trails we also relaxed at Brauns Bay and walked around the baseball stadium. Both of which were gorgeous.
Carson Park is definitely a great and relaxing way to spend time in Eau Claire.
