A Great Bar Is The Narrows

Juneau Alaska Port Overview | Alaska Cruise | Princess Cruises

A great bar is The Narrows. The seafood is terrific. The most gorgeous setting and scenery anywhere. The tours were also great. The Rookery is a good coffee shop/cafe, but they are closed Sun and Mon. I have no idea why since the line was out the door at The Heritage across the street on those days, a much worse place. Some things were closed because no cruise ships are sailing now, but that was little inconvenience next to the HUGE advantage of not having hordes in town constantly. We got to see and do everything with no crowds. We were lucky to be able to visit when we did, the chance of a lifetime. I would never go there when cruise ships are operating and dumping 10-15,000 people in a town of 32,000 every day.
