Where To Stay In Las Vegas Without Resort Fees

Use Your Elite Hotel Status

15 Las Vegas Hotels On/Near Strip with NO RESORT FEE!

If youre a member of a hotel loyalty program and reach an elite status tier, you could be eligible for waived resort fees.

If you are an avid Vegas visitor, for instance, investing in the Caesars Rewards program could earn you some great rewards including avoiding resort fees. If you are either Diamond or Seven Stars tier, your resort fees will be waived.

You can earn either of these tiers through gambling or spending on property. However, to reach Diamond or Seven Stars status, you will have to spend a large amount of money.

A much simpler way to achieve Diamond status is to apply for a status match from Wyndham. A status match is simply one reward program applying the equivalent status from a competitor so you can give their brand a try at a similar status level.

You can use your Wyndham status and apply for a status match with Caesars Rewards to earn Diamond status. Once you reach Diamond status, your resort fees will be waived.

Las Vegas Resort Fees And How To Spot Them

Las Vegas is known among travelers for its hefty resort fees. Resorts in Las Vegas offer some of the most exceptional amenities around and paying fees gets you access to these extra perks. Each resort varies in its offerings, but common amenities may include in-suite high speed internet access, concierge services, fitness center access, spa services and more. Guests staying at Las Vegas Strip hotels will pay around $40 per night in fees on average.

Where to find the resort fee: While resorts arent shy when charging fees, they arent always forthcoming with disclosing them. Finding a resorts fee isnt always an easy task. Since fees arent a great selling point, you typically wont find that information on a resort websites homepage. The best way to find resort fees is by looking online in the hotels FAQs section or seeing the fine print during the booking process.

If you cant find the resort fees: You may need to contact the resort directly if you cant locate fee information online. Note that in addition to paying taxes on your room, the resort also charges tax on any resort fees.

Tip : Use Las Vegas Hotel Loyalty Programs

There are a few Las Vegas hotel loyalty program options, but be aware that youll need quite a lot of points, even for one night in Vegas. If you want to stay for longer, youre going to have to do some major collecting.

To maximize your chances, make sure you partner with a program as soon as you can so that you start collecting points as soon as possible for your hotel stays worldwide.

You should also choose a program that you are likely to use a lot so youll be able to maximize the points. This used to be much harder, with only a couple of options, but now, there are more choices.

This is constantly changing, so youll need to check with the hotels, but at present, you can choose from a fairly wide range. The table below includes the hotel loyalty programs presently available for properties in Las Vegas:

Hotel Loyalty Rewards
Park MGM Las Vegas

Each one of the above programs has multiple Las Vegas hotels to choose from when planning your stay.

Which one will suit you best depends heavily on the deals that they have going at the time you sign up, and the sort of budget you spend on hotels each year. You should have a good idea of this before signing up for a program. Its also worth checking out what features are on offer before you choose your program.

You might be considering signing up for lots of programs, but this probably isnt the best idea.

Hotels Without Resort Fees

Pretty sure this has been asked several of times but are there any hotels that do not charge the resort fees?

Unless you flat out refuse to pay a resort fee on principle, just do what most people do and factor in the fee as part of your budget.

If I’m happy to pay say $100 per night, I don’t care if that means $75 + $25 resort fee or $100 and no fee. Bottom line is all I’m interested in.

Blagger is right! Just factor in the resort fee in the overall cost. The only peeps that don’t have to pay a resort fee are those that are CET Diamond Players staying at CET properties… So low rollers like myself , I just factor it in the cost.

Here’s a link and as you can see most of the casino resorts have resort fees

I never thought about it before but while MSS, the Cal, and Fremont don’t charge a resort fee, the sister properties do have a resort fee…interesting to me.

M Resort doesn’t have a resort fee.

Pay the resort fee and stay somewhere nice.

Off strip hotels such as the Embassy Suites have no resort fees. It has no casino though.

I haven’t payed resort fee the last 3 times I stayed at TI.

I’m booking through a host, and simply denies to pay the resort fee.

I then have to live without free wifi, a free buffet and fitness center, but for me it’s not a big deal, so what I’m saying, it’s possible to skip the resort fee in some way.
