Thoughts On Cheap Places To Stay On Oahu

  • Hi Kha,

Renting a single large home can often be cost-effective, you just want to look really closely at what sleeping spaces and bed options are provided to make sure it meets everyones needs. Weve done it a few times and sometimes it has worked great while other times it has not. For instance, little kids tend not to do great in loft-type sleeping spaces that are open to the great room while some couples may not want to bunk up with their kids.

What To Know When Choosing Where To Stay In Maui On A Budget

Before you decide where to stay in Maui on a budget, make sure you take this advice into consideration.

Peak Season Pricing vs. Off-Peak PricingAs with any popular vacation destination, Maui has peak seasons and off-peak seasons. Therefore, hotel prices change to reflect the trends and seasonality. For the absolute lowest prices on Maui lodging, visit during the off-peak travel seasons. Maui tends to be less crowded from April to mid-June and September to mid-December.

If your only available travel time is during peak season, know that hotel and attraction prices may be a bit higher than normal.

Location, Location, LocationIf you want the convenience of a hotel or condo on the beach, your average price per night may increase due to the prime location. To stay within your budget, consider booking a hotel or condo just around the corner from the beach. You will still have an ocean view, but not direct access to the beach from your hotel room.

Always Check TripsterDont forget to check Tripster before reserving a hotel room. The exclusive discounts and easy booking process will help you decide where to stay in Maui on a budget without the hassle.
