Zion Canyon is a fantastic first canyon to see on your road trip because youre immediately engulfed as you enter at the canyon floor. Three easy hikes in Zion Canyon:
- Parus Trail : Its an hour of paved trail along the Virgin River. Once you get to the Junction, hop on a shuttle to see the rest of the canyon.
- Lower Emerald Pool Trail : This 1 hour round-trip trail is paved with minor drop-offs. Youre rewarded with some lovely waterfalls.
- Riverside Walk : This 1.5 hour round-trip trail is also paved. It starts at the last shuttle stop and follows the Virgin River where the cliffs narrow above you.

The tour through the Antelope Canyon is something you will never forget, pictures don’t do it justice, as it is hard to catch the raw beauty before you. Our tour guide Rick was great, informative and help with capturing the best pictures possible.
We had a wonderful tour with Rosie. We took a morning tour in hopes of avoiding the crowds. It worked out perfectly. Rosie was informative and warm. She helped us get best photos, gave us interesting facts about the Navajo and the canyon, and we were not rushed through. We loved the tour and Rosie was terrific!
I went with a couple of friends from college, tour guide was nice, she explained many photographic opportunities, she was very knowledgable, weather was nice, we all loved the experience.

There are tours offered by many companies. I mentioned a couple of them previously however, there are so many to choose from.
The cost of the tours start at about $90 and can go as high as $400+ depending on if you add nearby attractions to your Antelope Canyons adventure Horseshoe Bend and Lake Powell are the most popular.
The $90 tickets are for admission to the Lower Canyon only. Youll also find packages that include both canyons for around $155.
For the Upper Canyon, prices start at about $125. National Park Express is a reputable company with great reviews and one of the cheaper options.
The Lower Canyon plus a half day tour of Horseshoe Bend is $160 or tour both the Upper & Lower + Horseshoe Bend in a private luxury car starting at $450.
