Ribev Laz is the most central and accessible village around Lake Bohinj.

The bus line connecting Ljubljana and Lake Bled with Lake Bohinj terminates in Ribev Laz.

In this lakeside village, youll find the Church of St. John the Baptist, the Lake Bohinj Tourist Office, a Mercator , a kayak/SUP rental shop, several accommodations including the standout Hotel Bohinj, an excellent burger joint, and a few more bars and eateries.

Apart from the convenient location and easy lake access, Ribev Laz is the most lively destination around Lake Bohinj. Overall, Bohinj is far more sedate than Bled, so dont expect a party. But, there are some nice outdoor gathering spaces including the Karakter Bar and the Hotel Bohinj garden.
