What are people saying about hotels in Yakima, WA?

This is a review for hotels in Yakima, WA:

“The hotel is clean, had super friendly & welcoming service. I liked the secure parking garage even though there is a $10 parking charge. I was told that downtown Yakima is not real safe to walk around, so we stayed to the confines of the hotel. The bed was comfortable. There is a restaurant within the hotel. The downside was that the room had no exhaust fans or vents to extract moisture in the bathroom which we found quite odd. Also, the layout of the room was inconveniently designed such that the bathroom door interfered with egress/and entrance from the hallway door. The lighting was also quite poorly designed. The street traffic noise was too loud for my liking. The hotel is located right on Yakima Ave which remains busy day & night.”

We arrived to the property to find that when they book the hotel out they have no hot water to service all the rooms. The hot tub was broken at the time as well, which was a main factor to me booking this hotel. Could have saved 60.00 staying somewhere else and had a hot tub and hot water.

First off when we pulled into the parking lot and stepped out it smelled like a pot shop. Then we had to wait 15 minutes to be checked in. Then we get to the room which, we had to get to by using the one small elevator they had, we inspected it and noticed white stuff on the side of the night stand . Overall dirty and overpriced and not worth the stay.

This Was A Very Nice Room And I Particularly Appreciated

Oxford Suites Yakima (Yakima, WA): What to Know BEFORE You Bring Your ...

This was a very nice room, and I particularly appreciated that there was laminate flooring rather than carpet which I think is much easier to keep clean. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and handicap accessible. We had a river view and a little patio with a couple of chairs we did not take advantage of. The breakfast was good and included hot scrambled eggs and link sausages, yogurt, fruit, juices, bagels, and muffins with cream cheese and peanut butter, pancakes, or waffles. Good value for a good, clean room.

Ms. Perrin dined at Birchfield Manor Restaurant during her stay. Heres what she had to say about it, While you absolutely should stay here to get the full experience, even stopping by just for dinner will be well worth your time.
